Our lesson program is designed to be specifically tailored to the individual. Whether you are a seasoned rider looking to fine tune your skills or you are a newbie who has never been in the saddle, our instructors and horses are here to help you reach your goals. Lessons can be short term or long term. Long term students are taught a curriculum that is broken into levels - each level more challenging than the previous. Once a student has advanced through each level they are able to interview for a spot on our show team.

The art of presenting you and your horse in the best light, and the ability to highlight your horse's attributes and strengths. Each horse is different, and whether it is your horse or one of ours, we will help you understand proper control, responsiveness, and polish through a deep understanding of how to be a skilled handler and communicator.
We specialize in training and showing Ranch pleasure and reining horses. Our goal is to make each horse and rider an effective team, able to problem solve together with a strong basis of trust and tradition while keeping the well being of both at the forefront of all that we do.
A horse is like a mirror - they will show you who you are, what you stand for, and your strengths and weaknesses. Each Breakaway Ranch athlete will go through trials and tribulations to make them robust and well-rounded horsemen and women. Through community involvement, volunteer opportunities, personal development, and fair and honest sport, each rider will be equipped to apply their practiced horsemanship skills directly to real life leadership opportunities.
